Employer Code of Conduct

1. Introduction
This Code of Conduct sets out the responsibilities of all employers using the platform. By creating a business profile, you agree to follow these rules and use the platform in a lawful, respectful, and responsible way.
By using this platform, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in this Policy.
2. Eligibility
- Only businesses that are members of the Tourism Industry Association of the Yukon (TIAY) or approved partner organizations may access candidate profiles.
- Businesses must provide valid proof of registration or licensing (e.g., YCOR registration, municipal license, or equivalent for out-of-territory businesses).
3. Proper Use of Candidate Information
Employers must:
- Use candidate information only for the purpose of recruitment and hiring.
- Treat all candidate data as confidential.
- Store candidate information securely and limit access to authorized staff.
- Not resell, distribute, or otherwise misuse candidate information.
4. Respectful Conduct
Employers must:
- Treat candidates fairly and without discrimination.
- Refrain from harassment, exploitation, or misuse of the platform.
- Comply with the Yukon Human Rights Act and other applicable labour and privacy laws.
5. Prohibited Activities
Employers may not:
- Create fake accounts or provide false business information.
- Attempt to scrape or mass-download candidate data.
- Use the platform for any purpose other than legitimate hiring.
6. Accountability and Enforcement
- TIAY may suspend or revoke access for any employer who violates this Code.
- Misuse of candidate data may also be reported to regulatory or legal authorities.
